Diamond Woods Golf Course is a 7,000+ yard championship course off HWY 99W in Monroe, Oregon. Designed by Greg Doyle and opened in 1997, the golf course exhibits a varied layout that challenges beginners and pros alike.
The front nine is characterized by open holes that play fairly level underfoot, while the back nine features more tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain. Water, so plentiful in our part of the country, comes into play on seven of the holes, all with sweeping views of the Willamette Valley and Cascade Mountain Range. Five sets of tees ensure an enjoyable round for golfers of all levels.
Facilities include a deli, indoor event center, and outdoor pavilion that can easily host over 100 guests for tournaments and outings. For weddings and business retreats, The Inn at Diamond Woods can host over 300 guests.
The course record is held by Matt Jones, who shot a 63 during the 2002 Nationwide Qualifier. Another PGA star, Webb Simpson, shot a 64 during the 2008 Nationwide Qualifier.
